How does laser tattoo removal work?
The laser sends very short pulses through the skin. The ink absorbs the energy and shatters into microscopic fragments, which the immune system removes gradually. This is why a tattoo fades over several sessions rather than disappearing in one. Each session lasts 15 to 45 minutes depending on the size, with numbing cream applied beforehand.
How many sessions will I need?
Most tattoos need 4 to 10 sessions, 6 to 8 weeks apart. Black and dark blue fade fastest; red, green and yellow need more sessions. Size, ink density, age of the tattoo and your skin type also matter. Send us a photo and we will give you an honest estimate.

Does it hurt? Will it scar?
Most clients describe the feeling as a rubber band snapping on the skin; numbing cream and skin cooling keep it tolerable. With properly spaced sessions and aftercare, laser tattoo removal should not leave a scar. Redness, slight swelling or small scabs for a week or two are normal.
Before and after your session
- Avoid sun and tanning on the area for 3 to 4 weeks before.
- Keep the area clean and moisturised afterwards.
- No pool, sea or hammam for 5 to 7 days.
- SPF 50 on the area until the next session; do not pick the scabs.
